Beatriz Palacios

Director of Educational Innovation and Digital Learning at Tecnológico de Monterrey

    She is director of Educational Innovation and Digital Learning at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where the strategy to ensure educational transformation and digital education is promoted. During 30 years of experience, she has participated in the development of the institution’s digital education through the design and deployment of different models for high school, professional, postgraduate and executive education programs. Beatriz has also been an active participant in the definition of application models for virtual and hybrid education in companies and universities.She has been responsible for the definition of the strategy and deployment of various educational innovation initiatives such as: the use of the hologram in telepresence, adaptive learning, micro-credentials, mooc, digital video and spaces for digital learning, among others. Beatriz has also coordinated the actions to deploy the digital modality as a strategy to face situations of contingency and educational transformation.

    She is an active participant in different consortiums in Europe and America where initiatives of innovation and digital education are managed and promoted. Some of her publications:-How to disseminate knowledge about distance education. Research in Higher Education Journal
