Javier Elguea Solís

Director Education Program Carlos Slim Foundation

    Javier Elguea is currently Director of Education and Employment in The Carlos Slim Foundation and Corporate Director of Human Resources for Grupo CARSO. His research and professional interests include education, economic, social, and technological aspects of international development.

    He has two Masters Degrees: PhD from Stanford University and Post grade from Harvard University; his BA is from Anahuac University. He also held a MacArthur Fellowship. Has been a Visiting Professor at: Stanford University, Harvard University, The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)and also in the Center for Science, Technology and Society at Santa Clara University, California. He is the author of four books on international development.
